Carbon Steel Metal Grades
Low Carbon Steels
Low carbon steel has between 0.05% to 0.25% of carbon that permits the material to be malleable.

Medium Carbon Steels
Medium carbon steel has between 0.29% to 0.54% carbon and contains a higher amount of manganese to help improve their mechanical properties.
