Dalsin Industries Announces Board of Director Changes

Mark Dalsin steps down after two decades of service; Diana Dalsin and Jim Glomstad join the board

Bloomington, MN – (Oct 25) – Dalsin Industries, one of the leading metal fabrication manufacturers in the United States, announced today changes to its board of directors: Long-serving board member and Co-Chairman Mark Dalsin has retired while Diana Dalsin and Jim Glomstad have joined the board. The changes are effective October 25th.

“On behalf of his fellow board members and the entire company, I want to thank Mark for his service to Dalsin,” said Arnold Angeloni, Dalsin’s board chairman. “Mark has been a part of this company for more than 50 years as an employee, as a leader, and a member of the board. With his two brothers, Steve and Dave, he helped Dalsin diversify from its original residential sheet metal business into a metal fabricating job shop and then into a broadly diversified contract manufacturer. During his tenure, Mark made tremendous contributions to our inventory management, purchasing, and scheduling functions while also working more closely with the accounting department.”

“The company has matured and grown into a sophisticated contract manufacturer, doing things we brothers never dreamed of,” Mark said. “I believe this is the right time for me to step away from my role, with the company and its board in very capable hands.”

Angeloni also welcomed the two new members of the Dalsin board:

“Jim and Diana bring tremendous skills and experiences to our board as we contemplate our next phase of growth,” Angeloni said. “Diana is a third-generation family member, continuing the Dalsin family tradition of close involvement in the company and its prospects. She has a strong background in marketing and communications. Jim has deep manufacturing industry experience as well as a track record of successfully leading through significant organizational growth. It is a pleasure to welcome them to the Dalsin board; they complement and enhance our strong board which provides oversight and strategic guidance to Dalsin. We look forward to their contributions as we execute our strategic plan and strive to increase the value of our business to our customers, employees, and shareholders.”

Angeloni noted that the board transitions were part of a succession plan initiated more than three years ago that seeks to grow the third-generation family business.
