Dalsin Industries Celebrates 80 Incredible Years
This year marks a remarkable milestone for Dalsin Industries, 80 years in business. Since 1945, our story has been shaped by the hard work, ingenuity, and dedication of employees, customers, suppliers, and partners who have stood alongside us through decades of change.
From a Small Shop to a Multi-Facility Operation
What began in a garage on 14th Avenue South in Minneapolis, with Dick and Eleanor Dalsin building gutters and other sheet metal products, has grown into a multi-facility operation with more than 177,000 square feet of advanced metal fabrication capacity. From residential sheet metal to proprietary products like the E-Z Sno Puller in the 1960s, to the adoption of automation and robotics in recent decades, each chapter of our history reflects a commitment to progress and to serving our customers better.
A Celebration of Community
To honor our 80th anniversary, we brought together the people who have been integral to our journey: employees past and present, valued vendors and suppliers, and the Dalsin family, including brothers Steve, Dave, and Mark Dalsin, who guided the company for decades.
The celebration was filled with the warmth of community. Live music, BBQ, games, ice cream, and plenty of laughter made it a day to remember. Most importantly, it was a time to reflect on how far we have come and to express gratitude for the relationships that continue to define who we are.
Looking Ahead
While technologies and processes evolve, including automated panel bending and punching, lights-out laser cutting, and robotic welding, the foundation of Dalsin Industries remains unchanged. Relationships, trust, and collaboration continue to guide our future, just as they have since 1945.
