Dalsin Industries Recognized by Twin Cities Business Magazine

Dalsin Industries was honored during an event held by Twin Cities Business magazine on November 30. As an honoree of the 2017 Minnesota Family Business Award, the company is recognized as an outstanding, multi-generational business, which has a long history of adding to the state’s economy and overall quality of life. The Bloomington-based family-owned business is a leader in providing high-quality metal fabrication services, and last year won the 2016 Minnesota Manufacturing Award for “Best New Product-General” category. That award centered on the company’s grill product, an innovator in wood pellet grills and introduced a wireless controller to allow remote grill operation. 

In June 2017, Dalsin Industries was recognized as Arizona’s first recipient of a United States Green Business Council (USGBC) Zero Waste Certification. Certification is based on USGBC guidelines reflects Dalsin’s commitment to use less water and energy, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Certification requires that more than 90% of waste is diverted from landfills and incinerators. In Dalsin’s evaluation, the agency found that 93% of the plant's waste is recycled, reclaimed, resold, or composted.
